Riding and Carriage Driving Lessons

Alkam Valley Community Project – AVCP
The AVCP is a registered charity providing horse riding and carriage driving for disabled and disadvantaged adults and children. We also provide mainstream horse riding for the local community.
 
We provide sessions for children of all disabilities and carriage driving for wheelchair users with our wheelchair accessible horse drawn carriage.  Children access the project via weekly visits from specialist schools and through contact with parents and carers.
 
A session for children with disabilities costs £5.
 
Sessions for schools cost £5 a pupil.
 
Group mainstream riding sessions cost £10 for children and adults.
 
On a Saturday morning children’s lessons cost £10 for 45 minutes.
In the afternoon we run a Saddle Club for the children aged 8 and over from 2pm-4pm, horse riding and horse care £10.
