Hello, I'm Mrs Day. I have been at Guston since September 2006, initially as Deputy but then as Headteacher from April, 2008 and have enjoyed every minute! I am very passionate about our school and all that we do. I value the contributions and commitment of all the children, staff, parents and governors together we make a unique Guston family. We run as 'open door' policy, so if you have questions, issues, conerns (or even compliments!), please feel free to pop in and see me. |

Mrs S. Hixon (Year 6) |

Hello, I am Mrs Hixon and I currently teach in Year 6. I began my teaching career at Guston in 2012 and I am now joint Science and Design and Technology co-ordinator along with Miss Lawrence. I love teaching year 6 and one of my favourite parts of the day is sharing a story (or two) with my class! |

Mr J. Wells (Assistant Head Teacher -Year 5) |

Hello, I am Mr Wells and I am Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Teaching and Learning. I began teaching in 2000 and taught in three different schools. I joined Guston in 2012. I have lots of experience in Year 6 but love teaching in all year groups. I am also the P.E and joint English subject leader. I really enjoy creative teaching and involving the children in their learning! |

Mrs H. Rhodes (Year 4) |

Hello I am Mrs Rhodes and I have been teaching for 28 years, the last 15 at Guston. I have taught all year groups from Yr R to 6 but currently teach Y4/5. I am also the Humanities and the joint English subject leader alongside Mr J. Wells for the school. I enjoy singing and anything creative. |

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Lawrence! I started my teaching career in 2012, here at Guston and am the proud teacher of Seahorse Class. I run Homework Club alongside Mrs Kemp and am the facilitator of School Council, which is a great opportunity to model democracy to our students. I am also Science and Technology co-ordinator. One of my favourite subjects to teach is our theme, as it gives me an opportunity to be really creative with the learning. |

Hello, I am Miss Gifford and I started my teaching career at Guston in September 2020. I am very proud to be the teacher in Seahorse Class and I am the joint PSHE lead with Mrs Day. I enjoy teaching Maths and providing the children with concrete objects to explore new concepts in a hands-on format! |

Hello, I am Miss Gower and I am thrilled to be teaching the super Sycamore class this year. I cannot wait to work at such a wonderful and welcoming school and I look forward to getting to know you all! My favourite subjects are maths and art and I always love to include a song and a story as often as I can.

Hello, I am Mrs Powell. I feel very privileged to be teaching the Starfish this year and look forward to sharing their first year at Guston Primary School. I am also the joint Music subject leader for the school. I am very passionate about the Early Years and enjoy engaging with the children in their play. I especially love reading stories to the children and art activities (the more glitter the better!). |

Mrs T. Tee (Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion) |

Hello, I am Mrs Tee. I joined the school in 2014 and previously taught years 1 through to 6. I support children and families throughout the school in my Inclusion role which brings together the roles of SENCo, Family Liaison Office, Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have the pleasure of teaching Maths in Year 5 and the Sharks each Friday, but am available before school and afternoons if you need to talk. If you have a question about your child's learning, wider community issues or just a great idea for a parent session, please let me know. |
