Worship

In accordance with the 1988 Education Reform Act, Collective Worship aims to promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the children and the whole school community. As a Church of England School, our Collective worship is offered in accordance with the trust deeds of the School and is conducted within the broad Anglican traditions of the faith and practice of the Church of England. All Collective Worship as part of the assembly will be Christian.

The responsibility for this policy is vested in the Foundation Governors after consultation with the Head teacher.

The right to withdraw pupils from worship is available to all parents.  Any concerned parent is asked to write to the Head teacher in the first instance.
